Atlantic Yards
A base-build and core programme delivered on an occupied campus.
The brief
A base-build upgrade across three connected blocks on a campus that could not close for a single day.
The challenge
- Continuous occupancy across all three blocks.
- Life-safety systems could not be offline for more than four hours at a time.
- All heavy deliveries restricted to 22:00–05:00.
What we did
We sequenced the programme into 41 discrete possessions, each with its own life-safety impairment plan and a hard hand-back time. Night logistics ran from a single marshalled gate with a dedicated banksman.
